Web graphic designers create the layout, font colour, font type, logos, pictures and other visual and verbal aspects of a website. First, a Web graphic designer determines what the employer wants out of the product. This includes what message is being sent out and what audience is being targeted. They then create sketches and samples of potential layouts for the website, before developing the finished product.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepares visual presentations by designingart and copy layouts.
Job Duties:
- Lead the design, development, maintenance and troubleshooting of responsive web-based applications
- Understanding, conceptualizing and designing new websites
- Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.
- Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
- Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.
- Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
