Vacancy Open for Test Design Lead Jobs in Santa Clara, CA
The candidate will own and lead the architecture, design and implementation of calibration and test for one or more products - starting from early prototypes until mass production.
Candidate will lead members of our organization to develop instruments, algorithms, fixtures, infrastructure and diagnostic software to calibrate and test our products at factories across the company.
Candidate will work closely with the development teams, early in the product development lifecycle, to define tests for functionalities and performance.
Candidate would be the main contact concerning calibration, testing and processes for your product and likely the key liaison between our organization and our Contract Manufacturers.
Candidate will interact within our internal groups to ensure that tests are being performed adequately and on time and be responsible for communicating to executives, upper management and technical staff on the progress of our product and respective test line.
This position requires the ability to deal with a dynamic and rapidly changing environment requiring decision-making with ambiguous information.
This position includes documentation of tests and developing/executing project plans, specifying instrumentation and diagnostics for verifying product features, specifying/ implementing process control and data collection
Key Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 3+ years of work experience
Excellent understanding of hardware/software architecture and interoperability of complex systems
