Client: Utah Transit Authority (UTA) Duration : 1 year + 2 optional year Location: Salt lake city UT Job Description: Background: Utah Transit Authority (UTA) has initiated a project to develop systems to facilitate transit management. The core project team has already been assembled and has begun development. The project team has elected to use the Iterative & Incremental Build Development Model. The functional requirements for this project have been grouped into two increments or development pipelines. Parallel development for these two increments will be done iteratively throughout the first half of 2018; design and construction activities will be conducted in 2-week development sprint cycles. QA testing for each sprint will be conducted at the conclusion of every development sprint, during the 2-weeks following the respective sprint retrospective. In Agile-like manner, users will be engaged throughout the development life cycle as needed. The technology stack for this project is as follows: Visual Studio 2017 VSTS / Git .NET Core 2.0 Angular 5.1.0/Typescript SQL Server Bootstrap 3.3.7 MSTest Systems Analyst Unlike many agile development initiatives, the business / functional requirements for this project are known. The scope for this project is to build a new system to replace a legacy system, with no significant changes to existing functionality. We need a systems analyst to do the following: 1) help translate business requirements into technical models, designs, and/or specifications; 2) assist with analysis & design activities; 3) ensure technical solutions are appropriately documented to facilitate knowledge transfer to System Operations; and 4) assist with development of training materials.
