Job Description for Desktop Support Engineer.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Knowledge on Windows desktop OS, Microsoft Office 2003 or later (2013 preferred), Internet Explorer and business applications in a business environment.
Knowledge of multiple desktop programs, configuration and debugging techniques.
Strong work ethic, detail oriented as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
Sound problem resolution, judgment and decision-making.
Experience supporting Windows platform, Microsoft Office 2003 or later, Outlook / Thunderbird, Internet Explorer,
basic hardware issues, desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices both in person and remotely.
Experience with TCP/IP and general networking issues.
Should be familiar with Desktop concept in an active directory environment.
Experience providing superior customer service and support.
Experience working effectively in a team environment, communicating effectively, resolving issues efficiently, and
contributing to the improvement of the infrastructure.
Knowledge of supporting MAC users would be an added advantage.
Maintain overall ownership of user's issue & service ensuring that they receive resolution within a reasonable time frame.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong knowledge on user management and end user devices.
Should be familiar with call logging portal.
Well versed with all Desktop Engineer and Procedures
Good Communication Skills Verbal and Written.
Qualification - 12th / Diploma Holder in Hardware & Networking
CTC: Up to 14000 pm CTC
Experience: 0-1 Year
Location: Sector 18, Gurgaon
Joining - 15-20 days
