ABOUT THE ROLE
We have an immediate opening for an experienced Java EE Developer to join our growing team in Belgium. This position is an individual contributor role based in Brussels.
Our ideal candidate is a Senior Java EE Developer with 5 years experience in software development. The role will entail:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This exciting leadingorganisationis currently on the hunt for aspecialisedJava EE Developer to work on a banking application.
This person will have a strong background in Development of technical solutions with adherence to relevant technologies and coding delivery.
- They will have the ability to work with Java technologies and deliverables
- This person will be responsible for the web design solution and hands-on development
- Responsible for developing new applications
- Responsible for maintenance of existing applications
- Having exposure with the Back End element
- Estimation of workload
- Unit tests
- Preparation of installation to a production environment
- Documentation of code, unit tests
- Participate in code review
KEY SKILLS
- A strong Java EE developer with at least 5 years work experience
- Experience with Java technology
- Java 7/8 exposure is helpful, not essential
- Experience with unit tests
- Maven, GIT, SVN, Jenkins experience
- Hibernate exposure
- Exposure with REST, SOAP, Websphere or Weblogic
- Exposure with web applications/APIs
