DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generating leads
- Meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Negotiating all contracts with prospective distributors and wholesalers
- Helping to determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations
- Preparing weekly and monthly reports
- Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective distributors and wholesalers
- Coordinating sales efforts with marketing team
- Understanding and promoting company products
- Ensuring deposits and balance of payment from clients to company
- Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders
- This position is a virtual and field sales position; you will work from a home office to make contacts and visit clients and potential clients to evaluate needs, or promote and sell products
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and statistics within the CRM
- Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices and availability
Non-Essential Functions:
- Attend and participate in sales meetings, seminars and trade shows.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven 3 years work experience as a sales representative in the food industry
- Quality customer service skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Familiarity with CRM practices along with ability to build productive businessprofessional relationships
- Highly motivated and target driven
- Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
