Brief Description:
In-depth understanding of omni-channel retail, especially Store operations and ecommerce systems is required for this role.
This position will be a liaison between business users to analyze and articulate key business requirements, system features and priorities on one hand and work closely with the technology architecture and delivery teams to support the software development and delivery on the other
This role requires effective communication skills to guide the product roadmap/implementation in a cross-functional matrix organization. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to translate business vision/problems into clearly articulated business requirements.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Analyse and assess complex retail business processes and propose functional solution options and system process improvements
Assess/prioritize business requests and partner with technology teams
Manage functional documentation including requirements, functional specs, integration specs, system integration mapping, functional test scenarios
Work closely with product and service vendors including global outsourced teams for project deliver
Conduct detailed functional impact assessment and analysis for bug fixes and new application features/enhancements
Maintain product and feature roadmap for in-scope applications and coordinate with technical release teams
Required Skills & Experience:
At least 5 years relevant experience in implementing omni channel retail business processes and systems especially Point of Sale, Store back office, payments and ecommerce
