Estimator/Production Assistant
We supply Print Finishing Solutions within the Print Industry and we are based in Dartford, Kent. We are looking for an additional person to join our office team.
The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills. You must enjoy working within a team environment, being able to build relationships with customers.
Ideally someone who has previously worked in a manufacturing/factory environment.
You will need a good understanding of print and finishing processes, a good eye for detail and proven experience in estimating.
Your role will include:
Taking enquiries from customers
Estimating on our Management Information System (MIS)
Ensuring correct job information is booked onto our MIS
Liaising with production and machine minders
Ordering foiling/embossing dies and other items from suppliers included in job processes
Keeping customers informed of the progress of their projects
Organising deliveries/collections for customers
General adhoc admin duties
The candidate must have:
- Estimating experience within the Printing/Finishing industry preferably 2 years +
- Must be literate and have good numeracy skills
- The ability to prioritise workload effectively
- The experience to be self-motivated
- Excellent communication/customer service skills
- Experience using MIS programmes and be computer literate
- The ability to work well under pressure
- The ability and interest to learn new skills
