Job Title: MAINTENANCE SUPERINTENDENT - CENTRAL SHOPS
Work Site Location: Davenport, IA 52801
Duration: Full Time Positions
The objective of the Maintenance Superintendent is to lead a broad range of services that support the plant wide maintenance and production organizations. The Maintenance Superintendent will develop and lead the Central Shops including the Machine Shop, Truck Repair Shop, and Roll Shops along with the plants craft workforce needs.
Machine Shop: The Maintenance Superintendent is accountable to provide the plant a machine repair and fabrication shop that supports unplanned and planned maintenance and engineering activities. The superintendent will establish annual metrics that drive continuous improvement within the shop to provide this service safely and cost effectively. The Superintendent will also drive team maturity through direct reports.
Truck Repair Shop: The Maintenance Superintendent is accountable to manage the maintenance of the plants mobile equipment fleet. This will include continuous improvement in repair turnaround times, increase time in between failures, holding vendors accountable for equipment performance within warranty expectations, and influencing cost reductions in equipment repairs from misuse by equipment operators. The Superintendent will also drive team maturity through direct reports.
Roll Shops: The Maintenance Superintendent is accountable to manage the maintenance of the plants active and spare rolls. This includes continuous improvement in turnaround time for a roll assembly by driving reduction in g
