THE ROLE
We have an exciting opening for a Localisation Project Coordinator, to support the management of streamlined localisation projects mainly in the market research industry.
The role will report into our Senior Project Manager in the Mexico City office and ultimately in our London HQ. An exciting opportunity for an individual who is happy to work autonomously while feeding into a wider global team, this role offers the chance to support Locarias expansion in Mexico City and to learn the key skills required for digital marketing localisation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Support the Senior Project Manager during the full cycle of localisation projects
-Prepare and analyse files using CAT tools
-Create orders in our management platform and keep project admin updated at all times
-Liaise with internal and external production teams, allocate jobs and monitor workflows
-Follow QA processes and comply with relevant and applicable procedures
-Prepare and maintain project documentation (briefs, TMs, glossaries/TBs, style guides)
-Complete linguistic work in native language, as required (translation, review, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS
Native speaker of Mexican Spanish
Translation, linguistic, communication or media degree/ qualification
Fluent English & Spanish written and verbal communication skills
Proven writing/ translation/ reviewing experience
Ability to work independently, great organizational skills and attention to detail
Proactive approach to work bringing ideas and questions to the team
Passionate about languages
Knowledge of CAT tools (Trados and MemoQ) and PPC/SEO is a plus
Experience in translation project coordination or QA is a plus
