Job Role: Languages and Social Sciences Tutor
Reporting to: Project Coordinator
Job Description:
- Teach students in shelter homes on the topics taught in school.
- Timely coordination with Project Manager.
- Accordingly, planning and executing sessions to ensure individual and group learning
- Focus on students’ ability to speak and write basic fluent English, Marathi and Hindi
- Conduct practical sessions through experiential learning e.g. extempore, presentations, group work, role-plays, etc.
- Conduct a regular assessment to gauge the progress of the students
- Ensure personal mentoring for students to help in problem/doubt solving and correcting sentence structures, grammatical errors, etc.
- Conduct post-course assessments to gauge the effectiveness of the course and learning progress of the students.
Skills & Abilities:
- Extremely fluent in English, Hindi and Marathi written and oral skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience of teaching Social Sciences and Languages to students.
- Patient and willing to invest in personal mentoring for the students
- Experience in designing curriculum would be beneficial
Selected candidates will undergo training with Muskurahat initially.
Qualification: Graduate/Masters in English Literature
Experience: 1 to 2 years.
Appointment: Part-time, 5 times a week- 3 to 4 hours a day.
