Job Description

In this role you will positively promote excellent health and safety standards within and around the hospital, supporting the Head of Support Services to maintain a safe environment for patients in our care.

Key Accountabilities:
• Ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of the Central and surrounding grounds providing an excellent first Impression to all who visit
• Maintaining the smooth operation and serviceability of all utilities such as heating, lighting, plumbing and non-medical equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of these services to the Hospital
• Working positively with the Hosptial Manager and Estates Manager to achieve the desired outcomes for longer-term tasks such as refurbishments and the non- day-to-day service elements of the Hospital i.e. redecoration
• Taking an active role in the monitoring of any risk areas regarding the Hospital operations and security
• Maintaining the Hosptial as a pleasant, friendly and secure place to live
• To coordinate all reactive and planned maintenance/ repairs throughout the Hospital
• Full UK driving licence required
