Job Description
Organisation position and purpose:
The role is to provide support in Development Program and Operational areas,. This will involve in providing a full service to all internal managers covering budgetary control, monthly reports, forecasting and other financial reporting requirements to all Project Owners. It will also include management of the internal finance projects ensuring they are completed in a timely manner
Main duties and responsibility
- To assist project managers in the bidding for new Business by producing costings, forecasting and timelines.
- Projects set up and maintenance in the Access Focal Point System.
- Assist in financial reporting and management of Development Projects
- Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with all parties connected with the Development Programme, external firms, Finance, BBSRC, and the Development Programme Project Team.
- To supporting the Senior Responsible Owner and Project Director in respect of all financial matters relating to the Development Programme.
- To be responsible for co-ordinating content and compiling the financial sections of any business cases, reports or associated documents relating to the Development programme as required.
- To represent the Development programme in communication with BBSRC, other key stakeholders, external consultants, and other agencies and at relevant meetings as required.
- To respond to all ad hoc requests for financial information, from BBSRC, Finance, Key Stakeholders, Programme Team or other agencies.
- In conjunction with E&M to enhance the financial monitoring system for Minor Non-Operational, Backlog and related projects.
