•Development of direction for the assigned accounts. In collaboration with higher management, develop strategies consistent with marketing plans, resulting in the achievement of sales, distribution, merchandising, and promotions objectives for the company.
•Ensure that appropriate resources are allocated and spending are within budget to accomplish objectives
Segment the account/customer base
•If needed, coordinate with marketing the set-up of customer research study that will deepen and extend understanding of the market
•Development of business plans for the assigned accounts/customers
•Determine current and potential business per account for proper resource deployment
•Identification of opportunities and appropriate action plans
•Deployment, measurement and control of assigned funds (if any)
•Responsible for the control and release of assigned funds
•Design, deliver and manage the most appropriate route plan that will optimize results
•Training and development of assigned personnel
•Training Needs Analysis
•Roll-out and implementation of Performance Appraisal System
•Skills development / training schedule for sales personnel
•Responsible for the VDMP (Volume, Distribution, Merchandising, Promotions)
