Job Description
We are seeking an adaptive, enthusiastic, well rounded individual who is looking to commence their career in the accounting sector. You will be preparing Tax Returns, Financials Statements and Business Activity Statements for key clients, and providing assistance and support to the senior accountants. The successful candidate will be wanting to define their career in accounting and grow with their team.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Tax Returns and Financial Statements.
- Preparation of Business Activity Statements
- Processing and reconciliation of payroll and bank accounts
- Supporting the accounting team
Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
- Successful completion or currently completing Commerce Degree.
- Interest in or already started CA/CPA programs is an advantage.
- Prior experience in accounting preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of agricultural industry preferred but not essential.
- Strong client focus and a genuine desire to assist others.
- Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with people. at all levels in an informative, accurate and positive manner.
- Highly developed written communication skills with the ability to maintain strong attention to detail and take pride in the quality of work produced
- Ability to prioritise, organise and complete work within established deadlines and to maintain a consistent level of professionalism.
- Highly motivated with a can-do attitude, flexible and mature approach to work tasks and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy team environment as well as work independently.
