The Role
The role is responsible for providing financial products to Komatsu customers to assist those customers with the purchase of new and used Komatsu equipment. The role will entail working with Komatsu sales representatives to actively develop new business and maintain current customer relationships. The role will also have the responsibility of structuring, negotiating and managing local transactions, including the preparation of credit submissions, pre-settlement and post settlement workflow.
What you will need to succeed;
- 3+ years business development/ sales experience within a financial institution or vendor financier
- The ability to provide high quality, timely and accurate commercial equipment finance advice to Clients
- Be financially numerate with a commercial approach
- Strong communication and superior presentation skills across all levels
- Possess intermediate to advanced credit analysis skills
- A basic understanding of the Personal Property Security Act (PPSR) and Anti Money Laundering Act (AML)
- Knowledge of tax, GST and accounting treatment of equipment and financeproducts
