Job opening in Singapore for Senior Firmware Test Engineer

Responsibilities :
- To develop test strategy, test plan.
- To be the consultant on current quality assurance processes.
- Review current phase gate entry/exit criteria.
- To introduce new process improvements, if needed.
- Authoring sensor technology Instrumentation software engineering requirements documents.
- Prototyping, bring-up, debug and characterization testers for new products.
- Preparing and deliver presentations
- Production instrumentation software creation and roll-out to suppliers
- Supplier liaison, including supporting instrumentation bring up and qualification at engineering builds, usually in Asia.
- Defect root cause analysis and resolution, including diligent bug database tracking.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software / firmware testing.
- Experience with Agile and iterative development practices.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Good to have requirements:
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Protractor / Selenium WebDriver.
- Familiarity with fundamentals of Object Oriented Programming Languages like JavaScript, C#, Java, etc.
- Knowledge of Rest based web services is a plus
- Experience with SQL queries /PostgreSQL database with GIS knowledge plus
- Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins/Bamboo
- Experience with code versioning and management, including Git
- Experience with automated testing types, tools and techniques (Unit, Functional, Load; JUnit, NUnit, Cucumber, Selenium, ReadyAPI, SoapUI etc.)
