Were looking for a talented writer and story teller with a strong technical background who can help us take our documentation and technical blog posts to the next level with innovative communication techniques and delivery methods. Youll be part of the product and documentation team.
Responsibilities:
- Create written and video tutorials, demos, quick starts, and other interactive learning materials targeted to a programmer audience.
- Write user guide and API documentation.
- Write and test code samples in various programming languages.
- Publish technical blog posts that are both fun to read and provide real value.
- Create cookbook recipes to teach users how to get the most out of our features.
- Review and edit technical content created by the Product and Marketing teams.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, customer support, and marketing to obtain the information you need and coordinate on content messaging.
Job Requirements:
- At least 5 years of work experience in technical writing, training, technical support, or informational design for a B2D/B2B software organization
- Experience creating video tutorials, screencasts, or other e-learning materials for a technical audience
- Ability to present technical content in creative and interesting ways
- Hands-on coding experience
- Thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Self-starter: you naturally take ownership, look for opportunities, and drive results
- Native English speaker with excellent writing skills
