Civil Engineer required for a successful multi-disciplinary environmental consultancy. Having expanded throughout the UK, the consultancy now employs approximately 500 staff spanning across 10 offices. Due to an increase in work load, the client is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer who will be based in the Newcastle office. The Civil Engineering team is currently involved in a wide variety of infrastructure schemes including, residential, commercial, industrial and renewable energy projects. The work specifically relates to the civil engineering; however, you will be expected to work with other disciplines to help progress the overall project. The client is keen to assist individuals in their development to becoming chartered. Civil EngineerPosition Overview The successful candidate will be required to work on a range of infrastructure development, including the design and drawings for a range of projects. You will be liaising with the Senior Engineers and the Technical Director, and will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver projects. It will be expected that you will assist on a range of projects, at varying stages from conception to completion and take full responsibility for the work that you complete. • 3 years' experience preferably with post graduate qualification
• A 2:1 degree in Civil Engineering preferably master's degree
• Experience in the use of AutoCAD to produce drawings within an engineering consultancy or office environment
• Experience of working in the construction industry or on site.
