THE ROLE
We are searching for an experienced Casual Sales Assistant with a passion for pets to work at our Altona North store.
As a Sales Assistant you will:
- Work proactively and cooperatively within your team.
- With the guidance of your manager undertake the day-to-day operations of the store.
- Provide customers with outstanding customer service and an exceptional in-store experience.
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Experience working in retail.
- Must be able to work weekends.
- A knowledge of the health and care of pets, including dog, cats, small animals, birds, reptiles and fish preferred.
- A genuine love and concern for the well being of animals.
- A passion for retail.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- The ability to work in a team as well as autonomously.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A can-do, hands-on attitude.
Successful applicants will be expected to satisfy a National Police Check as part of the recruitment process.
