Fundamentally accountable for business value attainment for IT projects.
Provide leadership to a team of 15 direct reports and direct their efforts in line with the IT strategy.
Communicate and translate IT s vision/strategy to staff
Addresses problems across functional areas of the business.
Demonstrate leadership and influence peers, other IT & Business Stake holders.
Responsible for hiring, staffing, attrition management and maintaining a diverse and effective workforce.
Meet budgetary goals and objectives.
Responsible for mentoring and developing team members
Career development activities of the direct staff. Develop next generation leaders thru mentoring, coaching and succession planning.
Performance management activities of the direct staff.
Prepare and present reports to the leadership team.
Ensure the team s morale and engagement levels are high.
Provide technical & functional leadership to various roles in a Development organization.
Adopt new technologies & IT processes to achieve organization goals - cost reduction, productivity, quality, on-time delivery, IT-simplification
Plan, coordinate and direct the activities of the team.
Manage a global application portfolio, with geographically distributed stakeholders, business partners, development and deployment teams. Application Ownership Environment, Infrastructure upgrades, Reengineering and App Support
Articulate, drive and own Dell IT Strategy within the specific portfolio, in line with business and Dell IT priorities
Effectively manage relationships with internal Dell IT and Business Partners.
Clearly understand Dell's short and long-term goals and align Application s Direction and Team s objectives with Organization goals.
Extensive qualification in all facets of project life cycle: from initial envisioning, feasibility analysis, and conceptual design through documentation, implementation, enhancements, and on-going support.
Strong global application d
