Vacancy Open for IT Support Officer Jobs in Sydney, Australia
We are currently seeking a Tech Support expert to support our growing client base. This is a full time, front line role working predominantly with our education client base to keep their IT systems running smoothly.
We're seeking a technician who can:
Communicate clearly with clients in plain English, without the tech speak
Troubleshoot issues with desktop and laptop computers running Windows 7/8.1/10 or Mac OS X
Troubleshoot both hardware and software issues
Explore and showcase new and emerging technology for education
Install and configure network equipment including routers, switches and wireless access points
Resolve issues with printers, network equipment, projectors, interactive whiteboards
Manage iPads using Apple Configurator 2 and Zuludesk MDM
Manage Active Directory, File and Print servers running Windows Server 2012/2016
Ideal applicants will meet the following criteria:
Exceptional communication skills
The ability (and patience!) to work in a school environment. You will need to complete a Working With Children Check prior to starting work.
Possess their own transport. You will be travelling to a different client's site each day
Prior experience in an IT helpdesk or support role
A strong desire to assist others
The ability to analyse and solve problems quickly and skilfully
A methodical and disciplined approach
Strong technical ability
