Job Overview
The Country Head of Development is responsible for managing multiple locations and ensure their successful completion.
Responsible for project and construction management and related activities. Minimum 5 years experience in a supervisory function.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Responsible for project management and facility projects, assignments and related activities in the region
Oversee a team of Site Managers within a specific region
Oversee sites and monitor progress of construction
Assist in the selection of contractors/vendors
Ensure that SMs are working within an appropriate budget; step in to recommend or approve budget changes when needed
Supervise onsite crew and communicate with contractors; cultivate new contractors as needed
Conduct regular inspections to ensure projects remains on schedule
Interface with upper management and design team
Established relationships with local vendors/contractors and ability to cultivate new relationships
Plan, conduct and coordinate regional and local projects
Secure that all necessary related information and documentation is applied and prepared
Allocate, assign and plan local resources according to position and task
Monitor and report progress of the projects
Plan and manage project budget, resources and schedule
Conduct construction reviews
Inspect and review construction projects to monitor compliance with contract documents, building and safety codes, environmental or other regulations
Create detailed project schedules which identify and sequence the activities needed to successfully complete requirements
