Role 3: CPE Test Automation / Test Automation Developer
LOcation : Ipswich - London - Belfast
Daily Rate: 300-330 GBPJob Type : Contract
Job Description:
Automation developer required to be part of a hub development team to automate network lab testing.
Hands on experience with Embedded CPE products - specifically home hubs and broad network understanding
Understanding of Access networks - DSL (ADSL2+, VDSL2, G.Fast)
Proven experience in any coding language - c, Tcl, Python, Pearl, etc. and understanding of programming concepts
Experience in using automation frameworks (Quali TestShell, Spirent TestCenter, Selenium, etc.) to automate lab equipment.
Experience in using Quali's TestShell studio and DSL are preferred
Keenness to develop automation scripts, document and follow established development process
Self-driven candidate to develop a test case into a robust automated script
Understanding of Splunk, any database (like MySQL) and any repository tool (like GitLab, GitHub) is advantageous
But ideally with Test environment automation skills. Test Frameworks, Infrastructure and Continuous Integration testing skills. Anyone with AWS exposure will be plus Ipswich - London - Belfast
