Position Description:
Company is looking for a talented Staff Build & Release Engineer to act as a technical leader to drive automation, efficiencies, documentation, and continuous improvement of the development build/release CI/CD tools, systems, and processes. You will work in a dynamic, Agile, and complex software build/release CI/CD environment and enjoy optimizing tools, systems, and processes for speed, automation, and reliability.
You will lead and contribute in technical decisions, as well as implement strategically important projects and systems. You will also be trusted to communicate the Engineering brand inside and outside the company both technically and culturally.
Responsibilities:
Provide strategic direction and implement state of the art solutions that will support enhancements and growth capabilities for our global team
Develop, document, and manage build, deployment, and release systems for our software solutions, which span multiple hardware platforms
Maintain tools, scripts, and configurations to automate the continuous integration, compilation, build integrity, unit testing, reporting, continuous deployment, packaging, and distribution of our software
Lead the Engineering teams to fix build issues, maintain build files, resolve build dependencies, and troubleshoot incremental build discrepancies
Collaborate with Engineering teams to enhance the build, deployment, and release tools, systems, and processes
Maintain effective documentation and metrics for the build, deployment, and release tools, systems, and processes
Mentor and technically lead other team members
