Develops, modifies and reviews models and drawings of structural engineering systems and components according to established standards and Revit modeling techniques, based on input from the structural engineering team.
Involves in technical aspects of the project together with technical office structural engineers and verify that shop drawing model production is as per project requirements
Follows up construction schedule and aligns the team accordingly
Reports to Structural BIM Coordinator Focus on teamwork and collaboration with staff Collaborate on multidiscipline technical office teams
Utilize and encourage best uses of technical office technologies for presentation and production purposes
Independently performs structural engineering and modeling tasks
Coordinate architectural design work with engineering disciplines Organizes and maintains models and documents for project.
Works closely with project team and assists to complete project on aggressive schedules.
Performs all work in a clear, complete, and accurate manner.
Checks models for clearances, potential conflicts, and relationships of the various parts to the whole and to one another.
Utilizes knowledge and experience in applying modeling principles for complete and accurate drawings.
Produces drawing charts for schedules and data, making changes and adjustments as necessary with input from the structural engineering team as required Manager modelers
