Job Description

1. Market Segmentation & Needs Analysis

a. Identify potential customer base for product sales.
b. Be involved in all the stages of sales cycle including interest generation through presentations, calls, demos, timely follow ups etc.
c. Gather market & specific customer requirements.

2. Market Intelligence:

a. Utilize public information & networks to develop market intelligence for branding & positioning of products, generating leads, tracking competitor information.
b. Analyze & review the market requirements and communicate the same to the product development teams.

3. Revenue Generation:

a. Achieve assigned revenue targets
b. Plan & execute successful campaigns
c. Put together specific client presentations and demos to identify & develop large accounts.
d. Develop marketing plans to build consumer preference and drive sales volumes.


e. Identify & develop new territories and new customer segments to drive new revenue growth.
f. Cross-selling other Microquest products through the existing customers.
g. Manage activities pertaining to negotiation/ finalization of deals (commercial) for smooth execution of sales & order processing.
h. Follow up for timely payments from customers.

4. Customer Relationship Management

a. Build & maintain relationships with customers to achieve repeat/
referral business.
b. Explore corporate tie-ups for volume/ repeat business through the year
c. Ensure consistent year-on-year growth in revenues from assigned accounts.
d. Based on market opportunities develop new business relationships with key decision makers & business partners to support overall sales and marketing objectives
