Job Description
Our client, a rapidly growing cannabis company who operates in the product and retail space, is looking for an Assistant Dispensary Manager to help run their retail cannabis dispensary in the Oakland area.
This role will contribute to the success of the company by assisting the Dispensary manager in various store operations capacities.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversees day-to-day operations with the Dispensary manager
- Provides exceptional customer support on all levels
- Conducts training of all new hires, includingon-boardingand product education
- Supervises budtenders/customer service agents
- Manages financial records and cash handling procedures
- Promotes sales and profit goals for the staff
- Perform cash drops
- Act as a community liaison at various industry events
- Conduct performance reviews
- Maintains in-depth product knowledge and remain a subject matter expert for the industry
- Help maintain consistent compliance in regards to products and the overall store
Skills and Requirements:
- 1-2 years of relevant management experience (either traditional retail or dispensary)
- Cannabis industry experience preferred
- Must possess effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have strong conflict management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Compensation:$50-55K + Health Benefits
