Our client, a leading packaging and ancillaryproducts company in the cannabis industry, is seeking an experienced, top performing, detail oriented Territory Sales Representative for the Los Angeles area.
Working under the direction of the Regional Sales Director, this position is responsible for generating new and cultivating existing relationships with recurringrevenue streams within the cannabis packaging and ancillaryproducts industry.
The Territory Sales Representative will also be responsible for establishment, and ongoing development and oversight of the local office, as well as the performance standards of its operational and sales resources.
Working very closely with their assigned Sales Support Specialist, the Marketing, Operations and Logistics teams in identifying attractive new opportunities, increasing product penetration, and forecasting product inventory needs.
With the support of internal teams and managers, the Sales Rep will be able to work independently structuring compensation, setting prices and product margins, assessing customer needs, and inventory forecasting.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Build relationships with cannabis growers, processors and dispensaries, and accomplish other sales functions and assignments as requested
- Prospect and establish new accounts as well as grow existing accounts within the cannabis industry
- Plan customer supply chain, sales forecasting and maintain communications.
- Sell stock products, as well as sell and consult with customers on custom orders
- Survey the industry and target specific accounts by utilizing published regulatory databases, trade journals/magazines, and other media outlets
- Work with assigned Sales Support Specialist to ensure CRM system is updated and orders processed
- Meet and exceed Territory sales quotas with travel required
