Vacancy Open for Mainframe developer Jobs in United States (U.S)
Experience in developing applications, testing and support production environment using mainframe technologies including but not limited: COBOL, JCL, CICS, and VSAM
Participate in building technical designs, programming logic, and workflows
Participate in code reviews and ensure the code written complies with the company standards and policies
Experience using industry standard naming conventions, coding standards, problem solving skills and best practices
Take initiative to research and resolve any technical issues/challenges while developing applications
Prepare requirements and design documents
Write unit tests (document and code) for the application packages
Support proper unit testing of artifacts to ensure smooth transition to System Testing and User Acceptance Testing
Apply healthcare domain knowledge to verify requirement and code development
Support Production Operations/Maintenance as necessary

Job Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field of study with at least 5 years experience as a Mainframe Developer
Previous experience with State Medicaid/MMIS projects and/or healthcare
Strong knowledge of all phases of application development SDLC
Strong knowledge of Mainframe application environment: COBOL, JCL, CICS, and VSAM
Knowledge of databases such as DB2 or Oracle is a m
