Job opening in North West Region for Area Sales Manager
Main responsibilities of the Area Sales Manager
- You will be set a revenue target every period and every quarter to achieve an annual new business sales target.
- Take responsibility for the new business activity on your patch to ensure you achieve your targets.
- You will be cold calling, making telephone calls and booking appointments to get yourself face to face with new customers.
- You`ll have a target number of appointments to attend each week.
- You will forecast sales on a weekly/ period basis, based on the sales that you have in the pipeline and the appointments you have booked.
- You will record your activity on our Salesforce system and in Outlook
- You will be required to travel, drive and manage your full territory. You`ll be following up on leads that have come from other teams like Telesales, Customer Services or Service Drivers.
The Successful candidate for the Area Sales Manager
- You will have previous B2B experience
- Full clean driving licence
- Proven track record in Field Sales.
- Self-motivated and upbeat team player
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Excellent at communicating, particularly in relation to questioning
- Demonstrates a good business understanding and can engage with all levels of the business
- Ability to negotiate and set prices
- Knowledge of the waste industry or capital equipment sales would be an advantage
- You are reliable and take full ownership for delivering results.
- You are strong and confident in closing a sale.
- Security check or be willing to get one.
